description Lake Francis is a 2,000-acre lake near the Connecticut Lakes of the Great North Woods region. Hunters and anglers enjoy this park as a base for their respective activities. A boat launch is located in the park. Canoeists enjoy exploring the upper part of the Connecticut River. This facility also list availabiltiy for the Magalloway Watchman Tower Cabin. drivingDirection For Lake Francis: From I-93:Exit 36 onto Route 3 North. Follow Route 3 to Pittsburg. Follow signs to Lake Francis State Park. From I-95:Take Route 16 west to Route 26 west to Route 3 in Colebrook. On route 3 follow signs to Lake Francis State Park. For the Watchtower Cabin: Go 4.7 miles beyond the First Connecticut dam and take a right on Magalloway Road. Go 5.3 miles and take a right at the Tower sign. Follow the main road about 2.5 miles and park in the lot off to the side. The trail is clearly marked to the top.

For a listing of the Alerts and Important information for the Magalloway Watchman Tower Cabin please visit the site details page for the cabin. *Nightly site fee pays for 2 adults and up to 4 dependent children under 18. *6 maximum per site of which only 4 can be adults. *The third and fourth extra adult on site pay $10.00 each per night. *All additional guest fees are paid upon arrival at the campground. *9 sites are ATV accessible Sites 1, 2, 3, 4 20, 21, 44, 45 and 46. *Youth group reservations please contact 603-271-3556. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD WITH YOU. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience. Lake Francis has 7 lakefront sites and 2 non-lakefront with water and electric hook up (sites 13 through 21). Open through Veterans Day Weekend with limited facilities depending on weather. Electricity does stay on and water is limited during this time based on weather. **For any refund requests after the reservation arrival date must be in writing within 14 days of departure and sent to The NH Reservation Information Office, 172 Pembroke rd., Concord, NH 03302-1856 **
